The Highland PCN is collaboration between the physician group and Alberta Health Services to provide primary care services to the population in and around the communities of Airdrie, Crossfield, Carstairs and Didsbury. The Executive Director role is expanding to full time to support the programs and growth of the Highland PCN.

This is an executive position requiring an individual who is an impressive, creative, and dynamic and an innovative leader. The Executive Director will be accountable for all PCN operations, business & financial management and will report to the Physician Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have exemplary leadership and team building skills, demonstrated business acumen, and proven facilitation, consensus building, and conflict resolution skills. Other desired assets for this position requires direct experience in the development of business processes, knowledge of accounting systems, management of large-scale change management projects and the operations of information systems. The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal, organization and management skills.

It is preferred that applicants possess a Masters degree in a health related field, health administration, or business administration supplemented by 5 to 10 years experience at a management level. Other education will be considered. Experience in health care is an asset.

This position offers executive level compensation based on experience.
