Registered Nurse

Part-Time Temporary - Duration: Anticipated until January 16, 2014

7.75 hrs/shift; 8 shifts/4 weeks; Days & Evenimgs

  • Recent acute medical nursing experience with strong knowledge base in ER, surgical, LDR. Preference will be given to candidates with one or more years of nursing experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a highly acute, very busy multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Charge experience an asset.
  • Must demonstrate organizational, prioritization and critical-thinking skills.
  • Must possess strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Current certification for IV, defibrillation, NRP, CPR and BGM.
  • Completion of vaginal exam, uterine stimulation and fetal monitoring learning modules preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills relating to complex discharge planning and working with Medworxx tool.
  • Current CARNA registration.
