Minimum: 18.86 per hour Maximum: 22.93 per hour
Under supervision of the Manager, Patient Food Services, the Clerk processes information for the Nutrition & Food Services Department through CBORD/Computer Programs. This position enters patient diet information into electronic file, prints patient menus, tray tickets, nourishment labels, tally information and distributes to appropriate areas.
  • Grade 12 required.
  • Experience in a hospital setting or related area is an asset.
  • A background and/or knowledge in institutional food services is desirable.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Must have basic computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Must have basic knowledge of office equipment operation.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be well organized and be attentive to detail.
  • Demonstrate positive customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
