Minimum: 18.86 per hour Maximum: 22.93 per hour
Under supervision of the Manager, Patient Food Services, the Clerk processes information for the Nutrition & Food Services Department through CBORD/Computer Programs. This position enters patient diet information into electronic file, prints patient menus, tray tickets, nourishment labels, tally information and distributes to appropriate areas.
Grade 12 required. Experience in a hospital setting or related area is an asset. A background and/or knowledge in institutional food services is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Must have basic computer and keyboarding skills. Must have basic knowledge of office equipment operation. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language. Must maintain confidentiality. Must be well organized and be attentive to detail. Demonstrate positive customer service skills. Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
