Minimum: 20.84 per hour Maximum: 25.34 per hour
Under the direction of the supervisor, this position performs a variety of general reception and clerical duties to support Travellers’ Health Services and Contracted Immunization Services and operations. This individual has excellent communication skills to effectively respond to a high volume of public and professional inquiries and is the initial contact point for all services offered within the department. The primary responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling appointments on an electronic scheduler, typing (Word, Excel and Phantim), data entry, ordering supplies, preparing forms, preparing mail, packing vaccines and medical supplies, preparing invoices, collecting fees, photocopying, faxing, stocking clinic rooms, taking and typing of minutes and providing general information to the public.
Completion of Grade 12. This position requires excellent working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office. A minimum of one year of related experience in a medical/hospital setting is desired.
