Minimum: 34.31 per hour Maximum: 45.03 per hour
In collaboration with a strong multidisciplinary health care team, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients in the acute care phase. The RN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and families for the purpose of promoting, maintaining or restoring health and preventing illness, injury and disability.
  • Current CARNA registration and BCLS-HCP certification required.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nursing education program required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to working within a dynamic healthcare team interested in advancing the care of neuroscience patients.
  • Recent experience in neuroscience nursing or acute medicine / surgery an asset.
  • CNA Neurosciences Certification an asset.
  • Basic computer skills required.
