Minimum: 23.08 per hour Maximum: 28.07 per hour
In collaboration with the Patient Care Manager, contributes to the smooth operation of the clerical functions. This position prepares and maintains health records and other documentation related to the patient visit; schedules clinic appointments from incoming referrals; performs reception and other related duties as required.
  • Grade 12 Diploma, Unit Clerk, or Medical Secretary Course.
  • Two (2) years of recent experience in an outpatient clinic, ambulatory or health centre.
  • Medical Terminology.
  • Experience with Clinibase scheduling and SCM.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to be proactive in problem solving.
  • Ability to handle stress effectively.
  • Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Tact, diplomacy and able to hand sensitive topics.
  • Knowledge of Rockyview General Hospital site and regional operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities.
