Minimum: 20.84 per hour Maximum: 25.34 per hour
Working under the general direction of the area supervisor. Imaging Records Clerk performs clerical duties in the Diagnostic Imaging department including burning cd's, importing cd's, digitizing images, retrieving images and other duties. Imaging Record evening Clerk will also relieve the Receptionist for breaks.
Hours: Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays 1500 - 2315 hours.
Grade 12 or equivalent required. Medical Terminology Course required. Recognized Business/Clerical course desired. Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience desired. Computer/keyboarding skills required. Minimum typing approximately 35 wpm. Minimum 1 year recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception and clerical duties desired. Must have pleasant and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Must be well organized and be able to multi task. Must be able to work in a busy and demanding environment. Must have good decision making skills and ability to be self directed while completing tasks. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and oral required. Proficient use of various computer systems and software. Ability to trouble shoot equipment issues is desired.
