Minimum: 31.63 per hour Maximum: 41.65 per hour
The Combined Lab X Ray Technologist I performs a range of radiological examinations, and provides efficient technological services to patients. The incumbent schedules and instructs patients on various examinations as required. The position is responsible for safety measures and the general care and maintenance of the radiological area; particularly as it applies to radiation and infection control. The incumbent is responsible for reporting and documenting any problems, incidents, and accidents.
Completion of a diploma from a recognized program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT) and registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X Ray Technologists (ACCLXT) is required. CPR training and experience in trauma is an asset. The ability to work as an effective health care team member and independently is required.
