Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Nurse Practitioner will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care in collaboration within the Medicine Program. The Nurse Practitioner role will be able to provide clinical care to admitted inpatients and efficient and effective discharge planning with a multidisciplinary, patient/family focused team. Comprehensive knowledge base and excellent ability to apply it in an integrated primary care facility required. The Nurse Practitioner will be a clinical resource and leader of ongoing professional development and excellence in clinical practice. There is an expectation of leadership ability, excellent clinical skills in acute care (medicine), strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Flexible team player required.

Salary/Benefits: This position is classified as a P4-1. Minimum $84,750.00 to maximum $127,250.00 annually.
A Master's or equivalent in Nursing with focus on advanced clinical practice, current registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and a NP practice permit is required. A minimum of three full-time years of related experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
