The Community Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary Service is seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide physical therapy client assessment and treatment to community dwelling adults with complex and neurological conditions. This position provides the opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team including OT, PT, SLP, Recreation Therapy and Social Work. The successful candidate will be required to maintain adequate clinical records, provide rehabilitation consultation to other staff and to mentor and supervise Physical Therapy students and Therapist Assistant students. The successful candidate will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide effective patient care and appropriate discharge planning.
Masters Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in Physical Therapy from an accredited university program, current registration with Physiotherapy College and Association (Alberta) and CPR (BLS-HCP) are required.
