Minimum: 34.26 per hour Maximum: 44.03 per hour
Within the guidelines and policies set down by Respiratory Therapy Services, the Respiratory Therapist I will provide respiratory care to patients in NICU, Wards and Emergency, as required.
The successful candidate must be a graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy and be eligible to write or have passed the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the College and Association of Respiratory Therapy (CARTA) or the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapy (CSRT). Current active registration
In good standing with CARTA and current basic life support (BLS- HCP) certification is required. The incumbent must possess excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills, have a positive attitude, initiative and be highly motivated with the ability to work independently. The preferred qualifications include: Current Critical Care experience in a tertiary teaching hospital, current advanced life support certifications specific to the role. Preference will be given to applicants with current Neonatal experience.
Responsible to provide proof of active registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA) and to maintain registration throughout the duration of employment.
