The Secretary I provides comprehensive administrative support, and reports directly to the Director of Documentation, Education & Compliance. This position provides complete administrative support to the Director by:
  • Researching information and composing correspondence for the Director’s signature
  • Maintaining the calendar of and scheduling appointments and making travel arrangements for the Director and Documentation, Education & Compliance team
  • Records and file management
  • Researching and preparing background material for executive meetings
  • Responding directly to day-to-day administrative inquiries on behalf of the Director and the Documentation, Education & Compliance team

    The position supports the training and education of new administrative personnel and maintains competency through coaching activities. This position acts as a role model in demonstrating client service and administrative practices. The successful candidate will carry-out administrative/coordination special projects such as (but not limited to):
  • Design and execution of technically and clinically relevant projects in support of Environmental & Linen Services (LES) Documentation, Education & Compliance goals and objectives
  • Assist in designing, writing, producing and maintaining technical documentation and policy and procedure projects relevant to LES
  • Contribution to program development processes and coordination as it relates to the end-user
  • A minimum of a completed two-year Diploma in Administration is required. Equivalencies in post-secondary education and relevant training accepted for review. Four years progressively responsible related experience is required. Experience in healthcare environments, specifically with Environmental and Linen Services is required.

    Must possess demonstrated high proficiency and experience with financial, HR, expense, and payroll software systems (e.g.: e-People, Oracle, etc.).
