Minimum: 38.70 per hour Maximum: 51.43 per hour
If you enjoy playing a key role in providing a wide range of speech and language services to school aged children, this position is for you. As part of a multi disciplinary team who works with school aged children, their families, schools, other health professionals and key community partners, you will provide services including, identification, assessment, consultation, direct therapy, and group intervention, community education and prevention services.
Active registration with the Alberta College of Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists and successful completion of a Speech Language Pathology program at the Masters Level is required. Preference will be given to applicants with recent experience and familiarity with community agencies involved with the target population. A valid driver's license and vehicle are required for this position. Working knowledge of computer applications including basic word processing, email, Internet access and data entry is required. Must possess strong assessment, communication, organizational, problem solving, counseling and group facilitation skills especially with the target population. Must be able to work both independently, and as part of various teams as well as possess a sound understanding of the community and the determinants of health.
- Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
