Days (May require some evening shifts)
$21.10 - $23.18 per hour
*Remote Retention Allowance: In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
Using a team approach; provides direction, coordination and consultation for volunteer services within the areas of Alberta Health Services. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates volunteer services so that the Zone will derive full benefit from the resources available to it through a consistently well-managed corps of volunteers who will assist in achieving the AHS mission. Scope of responsibilities extends across all program areas.
High School Diploma
Post-secondary education preferred
Staff training, interviewing, and supervision experience
Administrative experience an asset
Computer literacy an asset
Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Good public relations skills and public speaking ability
Familiar with or readily able to connect with community resources.
- Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
