Work collaboratively with physicians, Primary Care Network interdisciplinary team, community resources and other health professionals to assess the promotional needs of PCN programs and services . Work collaboratively with the physicians, Primary Care Network interdisciplinary team, community resources and other health professionals to assess educational material needs, to promote group education classes and community health professional educational sessions. Develop and implement a communication plan. Develop, design and implement promotional material including but not limited to: pamphlets, posters, journals, information packages, and display tables. Use innovative and creative ways to promote design and deliver PCN program information To assist in aspects of the PCN related to development and coordination of programs as required and mutually agreed upon. Works collaboratively with Physicians and their offices for RN placement, handles contracts, and deals with any issues that may arise.
Salary/Benefits: This position is classified as a P3-1. Minimum $65,250.00 to maximum $98,000.00 annually.
Public Relations Degree or equivalent. Masters degree preferred. Computer applications including: design software, publisher, word.
Experience: Strong organizational skills and flexibility in a complex and changing environment. At least 5 years of public relation related experience – preference will be given to candidates with experience in design and health care public relation experience. At least 5 years experience utilizing computer software to create promotional material. At least 5 years experience working collaboratively with various community stakeholders. Experience with Primary Care Network an asset. Experience working within a team and independently as appropriate.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to make decisions within the scope of authority of the position and in accordance with policies and procedures of the PCN. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a complex and rapidly changing environment. Creative, self starter, problem solver. Identifies and initiates process improvements. Ability to work effectively with minimum direct supervision. Collaborative and team orientated. Positive advocate of the PCN externally and contributes to a positive PCN culture internally.
In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
