The Manager Ambulatory Care is responsible for the coordination of a variety of outpatient services including (but not limited to) endoscopy services, various adult and pediatric specialty clinics, orthopedic services, the Community Cancer Clinic, and various outpatient services. This role is accountable for determining broad scope patient care mandates; providing mid to longer term, complex operational planning; representing Northern Lights Regional Health center - Alberta Health Services in authoritative, consultative internal / external relationships; resolving broad and highly complex problems with independent judgment; making broad technical/medical decisions and providing technical/functional people leadership.

Salary / Benefits: This position is classified as M2-2. Minimum $84,750.00 to maximum $127,250.00 annually.
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration in Alberta with CARNA
  • BScN, university preparation in related discipline of Post Graduate specialization preferred
  • Valid BCLS-HCP required
  • A suitable combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 3-5 years recent clinical experience
  • Previous supervisory experience are an asset
  • Relevant computer skills

    In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
