Minimum: 21.02 per hour Maximum: 24.26 per hour
Under the direction of the Unit Manager - Detox Center, the incumbent provides basic and supportive care to clients who access Northern Addictions Center services. The incumbent functions primarily in the Detox Unit and assists with Detox client assessment, care planning, and care delivery. Other aspects of the position include crisis intervention, housekeeping duties, facility security, and client transportation in the Northern Addictions Center vehicle. Must be available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Two years related experience
  • Standard First Aid
  • AED and Level *C* BLS-HCP Certificate
  • A valid Alberta Class IV driver's license will be required, as some local travel may be involved
  • Nursing assistant experience and strong computer skills would be an asset
  • A current and original Criminal Record Check is a requirement of all external applicants in order to be considered for this position

    • Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
