$17.78 - $19.42 per hour
*In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
Cleans client and other rooms using daily procedures, operates, cleans and stores housekeeping equipment, moves furniture, disposes of general and special wastes, and performs a variety of duties to maintain the facility in a clean, orderly and aesthetically pleasing condition. Maintains inventory of housekeeping items, chemicals and other supplies.
Knowledge of verbal and written English and arithmetic normally associated with high school graduation;
Knowledge of role of housekeeping services;
Previous experience in institution Housekeeping.
• Understand production and cleaning requirements to organize workload with a minimum of supervision;
• Operate housekeeping equipment and other related equipment;
• Maintain records and complete reports;
• Perform procedures effectively and efficiently;
• Mix chemicals to proper dilution ratios;
• Follow safety instructions
