Shifts per Cycle: 5 shifts
Length of Cycle: 1 week
$24.30 - $26.72 per hour
*$250.00 per month - Temporary Northern Living Allowance offered on a pro-rated basis, dependent on FTE.
Under limited supervision; provides supervisory and technical support in the Medical Device Reprocessing area; supervises the Central Surgical Processors in reprocessing of instruments and supplies; assists in development and implementation of instrumentation procedures and techniques to ensure maintenance of established standards of quality and production; monitors the technical and operations procedures for the unit; and performs other related duties.
High School graduation or equivalent;
Supervisory experience of 1 year;
Computer experience preferred;
Certified Registered Central Service Technician required;
Experience as an operator in Reprocessing unit of a hospital;
Broad knowledge of medical\surgical instruments and supplies;
Experience with inventory and budget control to understand and apply the principles;
Supervisory training\experience preferred.
A current and original Criminal Record Check is a requirement of all external applicants in order to be considered for a position.
Organize tasks, lead and motivate staff and establish priorities to ensure production levels and quality assurance;
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
Maintain records and complete reports;
Evaluate performance of subordinates;
Provide initial and ongoing training to Surgical Processors;
Operate CSR equipment, requisition maintenance.
