Minimum: 21.78 per hour Maximum: 26.37 per hour
The Rehabilitation Assistant will Provide support and assistance to Rehabilitation professionals within a multi-disciplinary adult CRP setting. He/She will implement direct treatments and indirect services as delegated to promote optimal client function and pyscho-social status, assist with health promotion initiatives and provide technical and administrative support as required. This position provides support to therapists in acute care, long term care, home care and outpatients.
  • Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma from a recognized educational institution required.(Directly related post secondary education may be considered).
  • Experience in Speech Language Pathology, Occupational therapy, or Physical Therapy is an asset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be physically capable to perform the duties required of the position.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for business travel.

    • Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
