Minimum: 34.31 per hour Maximum: 45.03 per hour
Reporting to the Program Manager or designate, this position functions as an Assertive Outreach Special Assignment Community Treatment Orders (CTO) Coordinator and will be responsible for coordination and case management of clients under Community Treatment Orders. There is also responsibility to liaise treatment teams, community agencies and physicians around identifying treatment options for clients who may potentially be on a CTO.

Position responsibilities may include assessment, developing and managing individual care plans and monitoring and administering the medications. If it is not geographically possible to case manage a new client, the CTO coordinator would provide clinical and educational support to the identified Care Manager, Mental Health staff and Physicians to ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and CTO legislation.

The CTO Coordinator working in a mental health environment will practice within their full scope of practice as defined by the appropriate college and accepts responsibility for continuing competency through ongoing professional development, including participating in educational programs, research and continuous quality activities.
  • Graduation from an approved program as a RN/RPN
  • Current CARNA or CRPNA registration
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in Mental Health
  • A working knowledge of psychiatric pharmacology
  • Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Current valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • BCLA - HCP Level C
  • Clear Criminal Record Check

    • Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
