Reporting to the Director, Community & Rural Hospitals – Central Zone, South, the Site Manager is accountable for strategic direction, leadership, management and administration for the Lacombe Hospital and Care Center, in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. These activities also will include the integration of various resources to carry out these activities. The position is also responsible and accountable for making key decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for establishing and contributing to the achievement of the goals of the Community & Rural Hospitals portfolio.

Additionally, the Site Manager will ensure that clients receive quality nursing services through maintaining, supporting and enabling direct care providers; developing and communicating knowledge & policy; and ensuring that necessary human, technological, informational & supply resources are in place to provide safe, competent & ethical care. The Site Manager is the liaison with various provincial and zone departments, site staff, medical staff, external organizations and communities in order to coordinate and integrate client programs & services at the facility. The Site Manager supports local fund-raising events in a variety of capacities.

Salary/Benefits: This position is classified as a M2-1. Minimum $ 93,000.00 to maximum $ 139,750.00 annually.
Education and experience requirements include a BScN or degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years in a management role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
