Hours per Shift: 7.75 hours
Shifts per Cycle: 10 shifts
Length of Shift Cycle: 2 weeks
$31.63 - $40.25 per hour
In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory, X-ray, and ECG procedures in accordance with all standards as defined by respective services and accrediting bodies. Performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required; and provides technical expertise and information to a variety of health care providers. The position participates fully in shift, weekend and on-call rotation.

Active registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (Health Professions);
Graduate from an approved Combined Laboratory/X-Ray Technologist program;
Competency in the performance of Electrocardiograms;
Computer literacy and training preferred;
Previous experience in the provision of X-Ray, Laboratory and ECG services preferred.;
Previous computer experience

Ability to:
Plan, organize, and prioritize work;
Communicate effectively with a host of technical, medical and administrative personnel both verbally and in written text;
Be flexible in hours of work;
Demonstrate ability to solve problems with an awareness of current issues and trends in health care.
