Minimum: 20.84 per hour Maximum: 25.34 per hour
Under the direction of the HIM I, maintain communication with health service providers for Central Alberta Cancer Centre visits. Records Management duties include QA’ing, filing and retrieving health information accurately and efficiently for continuing patient care.

The incumbent must be able to exercise good judgment and initiative in completing tasks and be able to work with a high degree of independence, confidentiality, accuracy and accountability.
  • High School Diploma with business courses or supplemented by commercial subjects.
  • Medical Terminology, Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk certificate.
  • Experience in Cancer Care Health Records or equivalent related experience with computerized systems shall be considered.
  • Must be physically able to perform duties involving standing, sitting, bending and stretching for extended periods of time.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work quickly yet accurately.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Good team player and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
