Minimum: 32.99 per hour Maximum: 43.30 per hour
Working in a multidisciplinary environment, this position provides the opportunity for the Registered Nurse to utilize the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation of patients/residents. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable to provide triage and treatment in the Emergency department and/ or to assess the needs, plan for, implement, and evaluate the nursing care for patients/residents in the Acute/Long Term Care Unit. Charge Nurse duties as required.
Current CARNA registration.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Valid CPR certification required.
ACLS and TNCC an asset.
Minimum of one year Acute, LTC and/or Emergency nursing experience preferred.
Rural nursing experience an asset.
Demonstrated strong assessment, organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
BCLS - HCP required.
Responsible to provide proof of active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and to maintain registration throughout the duration of employment.
