Minimum: 22.08 per hour Maximum: 24.33 per hour
The Technical Attendant performs safe and effective patient treatment activities for both individuals and groups. The incumbent is involved in assisting in various interventions including strengthening and mobility programs, structured group activities, ADL training, therapeutic transfers, splinting and wound management. Other duties include equipment preparation, inventory maintenance, ordering supplies, and preparing treatment areas.
Graduation from a recognized Therapy Assistant Program and CPR (BCLS) are required. One (1) year directly related experience is preferred. Previous experience working with patients is an asset.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

  • Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
