Minimum: 34.31 per hour Maximum: 45.03 per hour
  • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care in respective program.
  • Following established policies and procedures within the service.
  • Directs activities of other members of the nursing team and co-ordinates activities of the health care team.
  • Demonstrate current nursing knowledge, efficiency, communication and leadership skills.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Current registration (in good standing) with CARNA required.
  • Current Certification in BCLS-HCP required.
  • Current Certification in IV Therapy, ACLS, and NRP preferred, TNCC an asset.
  • Evidence of integrity, initiative and sound judgement.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated accountability for own practice.
  • Rural experience an asset.
  • Basic computer skills are an asset.
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge base and well developed technical skills that will support the incumbent in floating to Emergency when needed.
  • Acute care experience required.

    Please note this position is located outside of the Calgary city limits (45 km east of Calgary).
