Minimum: 34.72 per hour Maximum: 46.21 per hour
Reporting to the Allied Health Manager for adults, the Occupational Therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Primary roles include: prevention, remediation of dysfunctions in the adult community setting - including but not limited to: pre-arthroplasty preparation and teaching, cognitive assessments and multi-disciplinary assessments of clientele.
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and registered with ACOT.
  • Eligible for registration with Alberta professional licensing body.
  • Two years of varied clinical experience is preferred. Previous experience in rural and primary health an asset.
  • Community and outpatient experience is desirable.
  • Must be able to work independently in a community setting, as a member of the Integrated Rehabilitation Team and within a multidisciplinary facility setting.
  • Must be self motivated, flexible, innovate with good time management and organizational skills.
  • An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment record and references.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable vehicle.

    • Vehicle Required - Required to provide a vehicle for business use; along with acceptable driver's abstract and proof of business insurance
