Minimum: 27.78 per hour Maximum: 34.80 per hour
Under limited supervision, performs technical functions related to all aspects of drug distribution: preparation and checking of IV admixtures, individual patient prescriptions, unit dose filling and checking, replenishing ward stock, order entry and order entry verification, issuing narcotic and controlled drugs, manufacturing, purchasing, receiving and other duties as required.

Technicians are required to maintain a high standard of performance and undergo mandatory internal certification programs to demonstrate competency.

An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references.
Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP). The applicant must have successfully completed a certified technician program to be qualified for the position.

The selection process will be in accordance with the HSAA Collective Agreement, utilizing experience, performance and qualifications as the primary considerations for awarding the position.
